Resource of the Month: Challenger Sports

Challenger sports programs provide boys and girls with mental and/or physical disabilities the opportunity to play ball and experience team sports with the assistance of teenage buddies from area middle and high schools. Challenger players can let their abilities shine through on an equal playing field where friendships form and spread so far beyond game day. Challengers, as well as their buddies, learn life lessons about sportsmanship, team spirit, and inclusion as they all play the game they love so much!
