Ready to Respond is WIN All Else Fails’ public health and safety program, helping families, caregivers, educators, and community professionals prepare for emergencies involving people with neurological conditions, developmental disabilities, and significant health challenges. The program brings together established emergency-response guidance and lived caregiver experience, with attention to how a person’s medical, communication, sensory, and behavioral needs can affect an emergency and the support they need.

Through seizure first aid training, CPR and basic life-saving education, and emergency preparedness, Ready to Respond helps participants build practical skills and confidence. Accessible, community-based education makes these opportunities available to more families and organizations, including those facing financial or other barriers to training.

Beyond Barriers is WIN All Else Fails’ inclusive community engagement program, helping people with disabilities and their families enjoy recreational, social, and cultural experiences. Sensory-friendly movie screenings, adaptive recreation, and family activities create opportunities to have fun, meet others, and share time together.

The program considers sensory accommodations, different ways to participate, flexible environments, and caregiver support so individuals can take part with dignity and choice. By making community experiences more accessible and welcoming, Beyond Barriers helps reduce the isolation many families experience and builds connections within the wider community.

Families Forward is WIN All Else Fails’ caregiver education and support program, helping parents and caregivers of children with special needs build the knowledge, skills, and connections to navigate their family’s journey. Through expert-led education, practical workshops, and peer connection, the program helps families understand their options, advocate for their children, and prepare for changing needs.

WinConnect is WIN All Else Fails’ digital support platform in development. Its objective is to help parents and caregivers turn the challenges they face into informed decisions and practical next steps. By considering a family’s circumstances and asking focused questions, WinConnect aims to help caregivers understand their options and build a manageable plan for moving forward.

Whether preparing for an IEP meeting, exploring support services, or navigating care, WinConnect brings preparation and learning into the same process. A plan may include information to gather, questions to ask, rights and resources to understand, and actions to take. The goal is to introduce details when they are useful, helping caregivers build understanding and confidence without having to work through everything at once.
